I’d like to look deeper at the positives and cons of personal saunas.

Pros

• Portable saunas are amazingly convenient. Besides, it is easy to set up and no custom electric work is required for power.
• Portable saunas are of course extremely lightweight. Weighing only 15-65 lbs on average almost anyone is able to pick one up and move it to whatever location and whenever they prefer.
• Portable saunas are the most inexpensive way possible to take advantage of the benefits of a sauna.
• A full size sauna would be much more pricey than a portable sauna.
• A portable sauna heats up extremely quickly. Traditional saunas can take up to half an hour to heat up totally, but a portable sauna is heated and ready to use in just 5 minutes.
• Portable saunas are simple to store. Because they are so tiny and compact they won’t require much room and you are able to store your portable sauna in a closet or unused portion of your bedroom.

Negatives
I can think of just two possible problems with a personal sauna.

• You don’t really get the intense kind of heating that you get from a traditional sauna. If you like this intense kind of heat you may not like a personal sauna because the intensity just isn’t there.
• If you are claustrophobic you may not enjoy being trapped in the tiny space of a portable sauna.

So, you won’t really get the total experience of a sauna. However, if you’re looking for the health and relaxation benefits of a sauna and if you need something compact and lightweight that is inexpensive and easy to use a portable sauna might be just right for you.
